While the Nextbase Click&Go mount draws power from the car's battery when active, it automatically engages Intelligent Parking mode during downtime or accidents, conserving energy for up to 2.5 weeks of G-sensor surveillance. In case of an event, the battery唤醒 the camera, allowing for multiple incident recordings. However, it's not intended for standalone action cam usage. When disconnected from direct power, the dash cam enters sleep mode, preserving battery for parking mode. A hardwire kit can be added to extend surveillance using the car's battery.

SD Card Recommendations: Our dash cams come with specially designed SD cards that undergo rigorous testing for compatibility and optimal performance. Our wear leveling technology ensures even distribution of data across memory cells, improving durability and reliability. To maintain peak performance, we recommend formatting the SD card every 2-3 weeks. Non-Nextbase cards may cause freezing, gaps, failures, or difficulties due to issues with write-speed and continuous video recording demands.

Windshield Mounting: The device is mounted securely to the windshield using a 3M Adhesives sticky pad included with the Click&Go Mount. Crash-tested for durability and safety, the adhesive mount may lose stickiness in hot climates. Prior to installation, clean and dry the windshield with the provided pads for best results.
