Battery Life: The duration of battery life varies based on usage, model, and environmental factors. While the Nextbase Click&Go mount draws power from the car's battery when on, the camera enters Intelligent Parking mode during inactivity or accidents, conserving battery for G-sensor surveillance up to 2.5 weeks. Upon detecting an event, the battery唤醒 the camera, capable of recording multiple incidents. However, it isn't intended for standalone action cam usage. When disconnected from direct power, the dash cam shifts to sleep mode, preserving battery for parking surveillance. A hardwire kit can be added to extend surveillance using the car's battery.

SD Card Compatibility: Our Nextbase-specific SD cards are rigorously tested for compatibility and optimal performance. With wear leveling technology, they distribute data evenly across memory cells, ensuring durability and reliability. Regular formatting every 2-3 weeks is recommended for optimal performance. Non-Nextbase cards may cause issues such as freezing, gaps, failures, or difficulties powering up due to differences in write-speed and stress from continuous video recording.

Mounting Process: The dash cam is securely attached to the windshield using a 3M Adhesive sticky pad included in the package. Adhesive mounts are crash-tested for durability and safety, but note that heat might affect adhesion. Clean and dry the windshield with the provided pads before mounting. Suction cup options are available separately. The Cabin View Car Camera complements your dashcam setup, focusing on interior recording for enhanced safety.
